It's apple season again on the island. The orchards are open to visitors and they are welcome to fill bags, pecks or bushels. The hours will change from day to day and week to week depending on weather and the fruit. Here's a rundown of orchards:

Jonamac, McIntosh, Zestar and Sansa are some of the varieties on offer.

Wickham's Fruit Farm Farm Stand
28700 Main Rd. (Route 25), Cutchogue
The berries, peaches and apples can be found in season. Fruit, tomatoes, asparagus, rhubarb and corn are also available.
