Starting Saturday, April 28, there will be 45 locations across the Island where people can give away their unused prescription drugs. Officials say this is a great way for families to safeguard their children but also prevent drugs from being flushed down toilets or reaching local waterways. This program comes as a result after multiple cases of fatal pharmacy store robberies.
