Award-winning pop music superstar Whitney Houston has died at age 48. According to published reports the cause of her death is not known. Houston rose to fame in the 1980s with chart-topping songs which were recognized with numerous accolades. She sold over 170-million records. She also acted in a number of movies. Despite her success, Houston battled drugs and alcohol addictions.
