$5K reward offered for info that leads to arrest in veterans’ memorial vandalism

Islandia mayor believes U.S. Marine Corps medallion was removed late Sunday night

A United States Marine Corps medallion was removed from a veterans Memorial in Islandia and now there's a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Islandia Mayor Allan Dorman believes the memorial was vandalized sometime after 11 o'clock Sunday night. The mayor says the memorial has been here since 2008.
