Police arrest man linked to attempted robberies of 4 Nassau County businesses

Rob Perdue, 27, set to face judge in Hempstead Friday

HEMPSTEAD — Nassau County police say they've arrested Rob Perdue, 27, from Plainview, the gunman who attempted to rob multiple businesses on Nov. 1.

Authorities say Perdue is set to face a judge on Nov. 3 at First District Court, for one count of robbery and three counts of attempted robbery.

According to law enforcement, the charges against Perdue come in connection with four separate incidents that took place Wednesday between 8:38 p.m. and 9:25 p.m.

Robbery squad detectives believe Perdue is responsible for a pair of attempted robberies in Plainview on Nov. 1.

Perdue also allegedly attempted to rob Uncle Pete's Gyro and Pizza in Hicksville.
