Irish immigrant’s bar continues serving customers with meals, memories for over a century

Finnegan’s holds historical mark in Huntington Village

HUNTINGTON VILLAGE — Andrew Finnegan opened Finnegan’s Restaurant & Taproom in 1912 after he immigrated to the U.S. from Ireland. Having been in business for over a century, it has been more than a bar throughout the years. It has even served as a central role in the local government; though, the owners didn’t always obey the laws that were sometimes made inside of the establishment.
