Former Nassau County Jail prisoner Eric Slutsky is seeking $15 million in damages after he says he was beaten up by correctional officers and sustained a broken jaw and nose.

Slutsky says he was handcuffed and told to face away from his cell as officers searched it. When he glanced back into the cell he alleges that he was punched in the jaw, and kicked in the head and body, by multiple guards.

He then says in the suit that his clothes were torn off and he was handcuffed to a door with his arms spread wide "like Jesus."

Slutsky says in the lawsuit that the beating happened in August of 2016 and that he did not receive medical care for his injuries until the following day.

According to reports, the county says they have yet to officially read the lawsuit and believe they will be able to prove there was no wrongdoing.
