The top-seeded Manhasset Indians (17-1) win their first Nassau Class B Championship since 2014 with an impressive 14 to 5 win over the two-time defending New York State Class B Champion second-seeded Garden City Trojans (12-6) at Motamed Field on the campus of Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. The nationally ranked #1 team was dominant on the defensive end throughout and scored 3 goals in the final 4:18 of the first half to go up 6-1 and never looked back. Manhasset was led by senior attack Shea Garcia, who tallied 3 goals and 4 assists. Freshman Emma LoPinto also contributed for the Indians with 3 goals, and her along with teammate freshman Grace Gately have combined to score 61 goals on the season. Garden City was led by junior midfielder Caitlin Cook, who tallied 2 goals.

Manhasset will play for the Long Island Class B Championship vs the Suffolk Class B Champion (winner of Eastport-South Manor-West Babylon game) on Sunday, June 3rd at 7:30pm from Islip High School.
