LONG BEACH — Drivers were having a hard time getting through streets on Friday after the storm brought on heavy winds, snow, sleet, and rain. Some Long Beach residents were stuck inside their homes for hours, and over 35,000 people were left in the dark with power outages.

Though Long Beach looked as if it was in the calm after the storm on Saturday, the area is still not in the clear as Long Island was placed under a coastal flood warning.
