The son of the legendary civil rights leader spoke out on activism, human rights and creating change

BRENTWOOD — On the eve of what would have been his father's 89th birthday, Martin Luther King III spoke at an event on Saturday evening.

2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., and King III says that while it is okay to idolize Dr. King, it is more important to follow his teachings and practice what the preacher preached.
