Two men are behind bars after police connected them to multiple car burglaries across Nassau County.

One burglary happened just two days ago on Clinton Avenue, where 20-year-old Jordan Jackson allegedly walked into a house, stole a pair of 2008 Nissan Versa keys and drove off in the car.

Police have connected Jackson, who lives on Linwood Street in Uniondale, to several other car burglaries in the area.

On June 8th, he stole a 2006 Audi A4 from a home on Richmond Road in East Meadow, and on June 11th, he stole a 2004 Honda Pilot from a home on Fennimore Place in Baldwin, all after simply walking inside the homes and taking the car keys.

Police located Jackson and another man, 19-year-old Tayawon Anderson of Hempstead, on West Roosevelt Avenue in Uniondale inside the stolen Nissan.

Jackson is being charged with burglary, grand larceny, and criminal possession of stolen property.

Meanwhile, Anderson is being charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petty larceny on an unrelated open warrant.

Both men are being arraigned today at First District Court in Hempstead.
