A Bay Shore man pleaded not guilty to charges of driving drunk and causing the death of his wife in the aftermath of a January car crash. Jeffery Hirsch, 57, is charged with second-degree manslaughter and DWI after police say he collided with another car on Wellwood Avenue in East Farmingdale. Hirsch's wife was seriously injured in the crash and later died. Hirsch, who is being held on $25,000 bail, is due back in court in March.
