NEW HYDE PARK — Ken and Irwin Sher started Day & Nite/All Service in 1976 and saw their refrigeration business take off pretty quickly. Their first contract was with Yankee Stadium in 1978 and business has been booming over the years. The company has expanded to include air conditioning, plumbing and kitchen equipment, as well as locations in South Carolina and Florida. Some of their high profile clients now include Panera Bread, Citi Field and Madison Square Garden.

Ken and Irwin set up the company with the intention of having family take over from them. With their three sons Rick, Brett and Matthew taking on leadership positions in the company, Day & Nite is set to stay a family business for the next generation.
