NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Dharun Ravi, the former Rutgers University student accused of spying on his roommate with a webcam during an intimate encounter with another man, was convicted Friday on 15 counts. Among the charges, Ravi was accused of deliberately targeting Tyler Clementi because of his sexual orientation. Ravi is scheduled to be sentenced in May. He faces up to 10 years in prison and possible subsequent deportation to India.
