EAST SETAUKET — Growing up in England, Annmarie Waugh says one of her favorite things to do was draw and paint. Art was her favorite subject in high school, so it was no surprise when she decided to attend London's St. Martin's School of Art. Eventually, Waugh would move to the U.S. to pursuit her career.

She says decay, textures, mistakes, stains and marks are some of the elements that inspire her to paint and draw. Also inspired by talk radio, television, music and books, Waugh compiles her portfolio inspired by things she hears and sees.
