WATERMILL — Artist and architect Joseph Stella says he draws inspiration from nature because of its structural sense and endless variations. Growing up in New York City, Stella developed a passion for its history and architecture. After perfecting the product of design and construction, Stella was hired to renovate old structures throughout New York City. His architectural designs won numerous awards and were featured in publications like the AIA Guide to New York City Architecture, and 'The New York Times.'

Today, Stella sits in his local studio working for pleasure.
