Volunteers are motivated for many reasons, For Francklin Morose of Elmont, it's about giving back. Morose came to Long Island with his daughter after the earthquake which devastated Haiti in 2010. He volunteers now for the Red Cross, the organization which aided him so much in relocating his family and helping him provide for them. As a volunteer, he gets to provide for other people affected by disasters.
