A man connected to one of the Gilgo Beach murder victims is facing federal charges. Authorities say Akeem Cruz admitted to transporting Megan Waterman from Maine to Long Island for prostitution. Cruz was with Waterman the night she disappeared from a local hotel in June 2010, added officials. Waterman was one of 10 victims who were discovered along Ocean Parkway.
