Monday was Noel DiGerolamo’s first day as president of the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association. DiGerolamo had previously served as second vice president for the police union. Noting challenges like health care issues, pension issues, and other costs the county will have to work through, DiGerolamo pledged to work to ensure that Suffolk County residents will continue to receive the police service that they are getting now.
