Officers Said William Hurst Planned to Trade Drugs for Sex
MINEOLA — Nassau County police arrested a Bay Shore man Friday who they said arranged to have sex with an underage girl in exchange for prescription painkillers. According to authorities, 57-year-old Walter Hurst planned to meet with who he thought was a 12-year-old girl at a hotel in Hicksville so he could perform criminal sex acts with her. Upon his arrest, investigators said they found Hurt with 10 oxycodone pills, one ativan pill and other items typically used to lure children.
Hurst was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal solicitation in the second-degree.
