JERICHO — Officials say they are working hard to find the source of a bomb threat that caused lockdowns at Jericho Middle School and Jericho High School. Extra security was provided to the schools and police said everyone was screened and checked as a precaution. The superintendent of the school district sent out a letter to parents advising them of the threat and is working with police to help track down those responsible.
