Investors Organization Aims to Create Fund for Startups
PORT JEFFERSON — The Long Island Angel Network, an organization of investors, is set to create a fund which will help local startups get their businesses off the ground. In an effort to this, the network is planning to raise a million dollars from its members. Chairman and investor Michael Faltischek said the network will also look for co-investors to join the group in order to build a large enough fund. Faltischek said the members will meet over the next few months to discuss how they will use the fund to help local startups.
