EAST SETAUKET — After New York Times best-selling novelist Sandra Tyler gave birth to her second son, she was faced with writer's block. She then turned to the art of traditional tapestry weaving for help. Attracted by its medieval simplicity, the writer's temporary escape turned into a permanent hobby.
