BRENTWOOD — Police said a 13-year-old boy is listed in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Crooked Hill Road Sunday afternoon. The boy was rushed to Stony Brook University Medical Center with serious injuries, police said. The driver of the vehicle, Marlene Canales of Bay Shore, was not injured in the accident, police said. The vehicle was impounded for further investigation, detectives said.
