LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Students on their summer break joined teachers at Long Branch Middle School for a three-day training course on how to use technology in the classroom. The Verizon Foundation provided the school $35,000 to train the staff to use tablets to better engage their students. The children in attendance were also instructed on how to use the devices as a tool for their education in the classroom.
