ATLANTIC BEACH — Authorities said that a body was recovered after a boater went overboard at the East Rockaway inlet. The Nassau County Police Department and the New York Police Department were assisting the U.S. Coast Guard in an effort to find Stanislaw Nawrocki, who authorities said was not wearing a life jacket when went overboard Thursday. Police, however, have not positively identified as to whether the body recovered is Nawrocki.
