NORTH BELLPORT — Several mother-daughter teams are doing something very special for Mother's Day by helping to build a home for the Summers family in connection with the Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program. Home improvement store Lowe’s trains women volunteers and provides financial support for the initiative.
The home is being built for Monique Summers, a single mom, and her two children.
