PORT JEFFERSON -- If you live in Port Jefferson, you know the Tara Inn. This popular "locals only" hangout is home to the $1 Tara Burger and the 99¢ Kate's Roast Beef, as well as many other amazing meal deals which are posted on paper plates on the pub's walls. The prices haven't changed changed since Tara Inn opened in 1977.
