HUNTINGTON – Students of Northport High School are working together in the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease, in honor of their beloved teacher, David Deutsch. With help from the community and other faculty, the students have successfully raised funds and awareness about A.L.S. through the A Midwinter Night’s Dream organization.
