ELMONT — Police say a man is under custody this morning for allegedly promoting child pornography. According to investigators, 28-year-old Jonathan Silva used the internet to download and share videos of children performing sexual acts.

Silva is being charged with promoting sexual performance of a child and possession sexual performance of a child.
