DaVinci Construction President Talks About Work After Sandy
MASSAPEQUA — A tough economy has significantly hurt Long Island's construction industry and thousands have been laid off in the last few years. However, with thousands of homes damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, construction workers are now back on the job. Artie Cipoletti, president of DaVinci Construction, says he employs more than 40 construction workers and expects to double that number by the spring. Cipoletti says there's a lot of work to be done on Long Island and he believes there's enough work to keep construction companies busy for the next three years.
