The New York City Police Department says an officer of the force from Levittown died Friday while working in Brooklyn on a narcotics team. Sgt. Patrick Divers experienced chest pains and was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from a heart attack, according to the NYPD. The 51-year-old husband and father was a 25-year veteran of the force, making over a thousand arrests and earning 35 awards for his service.
