HICKSVILLE — For the next two weekends, kids of all ages are welcome to come and see trains at the West Island Model Railroad Club. More than 12 scale miles of track have been laid by club members, along with scene recreations of sections of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. All the trains are computerized with technology similar to the LIRR. Model trains are an American tradition, especially associated with the holidays, and club members hope to expose other people to their hobby.
