There was a sea of red at Sachem East High School's first football game of the season today, to honor Josh Mileto, a player who died in a tragic accident during a team practice in August.

Signs and banners featuring Mileto's number, 5, were everywhere as fans and players paid tribute to the young teen's memory.

Much of the local community is still mourning Mileto's loss, and attendees say that they plan on continuing to honor Mileto's memory for the remainder of the season.
