Police hunt for driver in Port Jefferson hit-and-run involving disabled person

Police are asking for the public's help in finding the man they say is responsible for a hit-and-run involving a disabled person.

It happened in Port Jefferson Station back on July 29 and involved a Honda Accord.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s, who wore glasses.

The man was seen wearing a wristband from the Terryville Fire Department Carnival.

The vehicle may have damage to the driver side front bumper.
