Stony Brook women's lacrosse team nears first-ever Final Four trip

The 5th-seeded Seawolves are the only unbeaten team remaining in the tournament

STONY BROOK — The Stony Brook University women's lacrosse team is just one win away from their first-ever trip to the Division I Women's Lacrosse Final Four.

The fifth-seeded Seawolves are the only unbeaten team left in the tournament, and spent 10 straight weeks ranked as the nation's no. 1 team. Now, they must defeat the Boston College Eagles, the runners-up in last year's National Championship on May 19.

The National Championship this year is being held at Stony Brook University, giving the Seawolves extra motivation to win.
