New York Senator George Latimer's campaign is nearing the finish line tonight, as voters cast their ballots in the Democratic primary.

Latimer is running against County Legislator Ken Jenkins to decide who will square off against incumbent Republican Rob Astorino in November to be Westchester County Executive.

The Vice Chair for the Democratic party in Mt. Vernon, Serapher Conn, says he has sent many volunteers throughout the city to get out the vote.

“We go out and get out the vote. There knocking doors asking people if they've already voted, then we'll let people know we have rides to the polls. We've covered a lot of districts,” says Conn.
