County health officials: Westchester doctor exposed patients to hepatitis and HIV

The state health department is pressing charges against Dr. Timothy Morley

Share

A local doctor with offices in both White Plains and Mount Kisco has been ordered to stop practicing immediately after county health officials say he exposed his patients to Hepatitis C and HIV.

The patients of Dr. Timothy Morley are being urged to get tested after an investigation revealed that at least four of his patients were exposed to Hepatitis C and HIV.

At this time it's not clear exactly how many patients have been exposed to the illnesses, but now officials at the Westchester County Health Department are urging anyone who has seen Dr. Morley get tested.

The testing will be available at no cost to patients through the county health department. Appointments can be made by calling 914-995-7499.
