Local law enforcement led a large funeral procession down Market Street in Poughkeepsie to honor fallen U.S. Navy sailor Corey Ingram.

Family and friends walked in one by one for the service to honor fallen 28-year-old.

The Poughkeepsie native served as an information systems technician. Ingram and nine other sailors never made it home after the U.S.S. John McCain crashed into an oil tanker near Singapore back on Aug. 21.

Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro says the county is heartbroken over Ingram's loss and all flags at government buildings in the county will be flown at half-staff in his memory on Tuesday.
