Overnight shooting in Greenburgh leaves 1 person with serious injuries

Victim is in critical condition, authorities say

An overnight shooting has left one person badly injured in Greenburgh, according to police.

Greenburgh police received a call around 8 p.m. Thursday for a possible shooting at 100 Manhattan Ave.

The police have now confirmed that one man was shot in the stairwell on the sixth floor of the building. The victim is believed to be in critical condition.

A woman who lives on the third floor says she heard arguing. The next thing she knew, police had arrived on the scene.

Police have not released any further details on the crime.
