Baseball fans fill Dutchess Stadium to see Mets Pitcher Matt Harvey take the mound

Harvey started the game for the visiting Brooklyn Cyclones

It's not often the Hudson Valley Renegades will promote a player on the opposing team but Saturday night's game was an exception.

Mets fans filled the Dutchess Stadium to see Matt Harvey take the mound for the Brooklyn Cyclones.

"It’s a good thing we didn't blink or else we would've missed it but it was cool to see him pitch," Mets fan Wayne Theiss said.

Harvey started the game for the Brooklyn Cyclones but he didn't finish and only pitching one inning but his appearance was enough to pack the stadium.

Unfortunately, Mets fans haven't had much to cheer about this season. The Renegades, however, were happy to accommodate fans Saturday night for a sold out game. A matchup that was a big hit for both teams.
