The Food Bank Of Westchester is setting up shop in Westchester County this afternoon.

It comes as part of Berkeley College's expanded signature volunteerism event, Community Service Week, and features the college's president Michael Smith.

Smith says the event is fitting for the college, because the students are from the community, and enjoy serving the communities they come from:

“We service Westchester, our students are from Westchester, the students that we may be feeding today may be Berkeley College students in the future. A foundation to a good education is good nutrition. The Food Bank of Westchester does a wonderful job. We’re proud to support them for as many years as we have.”

Aside from Westchester County, members of the Berkeley College community are also volunteering at 45 non-profit organizations across New Jersey and New York City.
