Binghamton University freshman from Pearl River died accidentally: Officials

Conor Donnelly, who attended Nanuet Senior High School, has not had his cause of death released

Binghamton University announced that Conor Donnelly, a freshman from Pearl River, died accidentally Saturday while off campus.

Binghamton Police are investigating and no other details are available at this time. President Harvey Stenger was saddened to make the announcement.

"It is always difficult to lose someone," Stenger said. "But it is especially difficult to lose a young member of our campus community so suddenly."

Staff from the University Counseling Center is available for students who are affected by this death and wish to speak with someone.
