Doctors from the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, patients, and families donned their masks and capes Friday in support of the fight against childhood cancer.

The “Heroes for Cancer” event was founded by Charlie and Diane Medici, a Westchester couple looking to honor their nephew, a leukemia survivor.

The fundraiser also had face painters, bouncy houses and a DJ.

The older superheroes got to enjoy a cocktail hour, silent auction, raffle and a speaking program featuring hospital physicians.
