WHITE PLAINS — Oct. 28 is the last day for patients to receive free vaccinations from the Westchester Department of Health after a Hepatitis scare at bartaco in Port Chester.

Those who visited the restaurant from Aug. 22 to late October could have come in contact with the highly contagious virus.

Health officials say symptoms of Hepatitis A include flu-like symptoms, fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite and jaundice.

They say at least four people in Westchester contracted the disease as early as September and all ate at the restaurant.

One bartaco employee tested positive for Hepatitis and could have potentially infected thousands of customers, which caused the health department to shut the restaurant down Oct. 25.
