Mothers in Ossining help take down business for lewd, illegal activity

Police arrest two women who worked at the spa; charges include prostitution

OSSINING — Authorities shut down a massage spa on Croton Avenue in Ossining Nov. 16 after a group of about 300 moms said it was offering much more than massages.

One mother in Ossining started a Facebook group called Ossining Against Erotic Massage Parlors.

Crossling says the cozy spa, near a school, was offering sexual favors for money in online ads.

Several mothers made their voices heard at a Village board meeting Nov. 14, promoting the Ossining Police to get involved.

Authorities went undercover and arrested two women who worked at the spa. One was charged with prostitution, both for operating without a proper license.

Officials say the spa shut down because it wasn't up to code and could be unsafe.
