New City man's family member finds wedding ring in donations at Nyack College

Gary Cirlin and the Nyack Homeless Project combine efforts to find ring owner

NEW CITY — Gary Cirlin and his family turn their Oriole Road front yard into "The North Pole Airport" during the holidays, attracting countless people while helping those who are less fortunate.

On Christmas Eve, Cirlin's brother-in-law spotted an engraved wedding ring while going through bags of food and canned goods at Nyack College. Now, the family is hoping to get the attention of the ring owner.

Cirlin posted a picture of the ring on his "New City North Pole Airport" Facebook page, as did the Nyack Homeless Project, with the hopes that someone recognizes it and returns it to its proper owner.

Anyone who recognizes the ring can reach the Nyack Homeless Project by email at info@nyackhp.org or (845-358-7122).
