VALHALLA – Attorney John Pacor has been accused of stealing nearly $100,000 from Pleasant Ridge Homeowners Association (HOA). Pacor pleaded not guilty to second-degree grand larceny on Wednesday. Pacor is accused of depositing 51 checks worth more than $93,000 from the HOA bank account into his own checking account between November 2012 and April 2014.

According to the HOA board members, 19 of the 26 homeowners in the area are seniors making them more vulnerable to Pacor's alleged crimes.

Pacor's wife is a former HOA president and his mother was the treasurer, according to the Westchester District Attorney's Office, which is how he got access to the money.

The board said they're filing a $30,000 civil lawsuit against the Pacors for allegedly not paying their maintenance or assessments for five years
