Cleanup crews target downed trees and wires in nor’easter aftermath

Debris still seen in Mamaroneck, but area recovers after late-winter storm

MAMARONECK — There were still heavy winds in Mamaroneck on Saturday morning, but the flood that affected the area from Friday’s nor’easter died down quite a bit. After multiple trees were down and caused surrounding damage, the area looked much better than it did hours before with cleanup crews tackling downed wires and debris.
