More possible litigation to come over Memorial Field

Renovations may be unsuccessful in 'getting everyone to agree'

WHITE PLAINS — A joint meeting held on Monday between Westchester County's law and public works committees brought the groups one step closer to potentially controlling Memorial Field renovations. Legislators unanimously voted in favor of giving the county the ability to sue Mount Vernon if they couldn't come to an agreement over allowing Westchester to finish the project.

Another court hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
